PLEASE provides scholarships, mentoring, and leadership training to motivated students with financial need from high school through college. We inspire students to Learn, Lead, and Serve while living out our core value: "To whom much is given, much is required."

History

The PLEASE Foundation was founded in 2007 by a native New Orleanian, Yvette Endom. She has always had a passion for helping at-risk children. After being displaced from her home for nine months due to Hurricane Katrina, she wanted to make our community a better place by inspiring the children of New Orleans. Yvette created The PLEASE Foundation to help provide scholarships for inner-city children to receive the best education available to them in New Orleans. She believed that providing them with a college preparatory education was the best way to pull them out of poverty and help them become the future leaders of our city.
