THE PLEASE FOUNDATION was founded in 2007 by a native New Orleanian, Yvette Endom. She has a passion for helping others and was inspired by her own hardships after Hurricane Katrina to give back to our city and to make our community a better place for the future of the children of New Orleans. She has a special place in her heart for those children who are at risk in the volatile neighborhoods of our inner city. Believing that economics is tied to education, Yvette created the PLEASE Foundation with a mission to inspire at-risk children to a future of excellence through educational, spiritual, and social resources.
Today, our Foundation is made up of approximately 50 volunteers who donate their time, resources, and hearts to the betterment of the youth in our city. Each volunteer has taken this opportunity to be a positive role model in our childrens' lives and our organization appreciates the time and resources donated by each and every volunteer, regardless of how big or small their contribution.
