Our Mission

To inspire at-risk children to a future of excellence through educational, spiritual, and social resources

History

The PLEASE Foundation was founded in 2007 by a native New Orleanian, Yvette Endom. She has always had a passion for helping at-risk children. After being displaced from her home for nine months due to Hurricane Katrina, she wanted to make our community a better place by inspiring the children of New Orleans. Yvette created The PLEASE Foundation to help provide scholarships for inner-city children to receive the best education available to them in New Orleans. She believed that providing them with a college-preparatory Catholic education was the best way to pull them out of poverty and help them become the future leaders of our city.

As of today, the PLEASE Foundation has experienced tremendous success in helping these children. We have provided over 310 scholarships for students to attend Catholic Schools in New Orleans. The PLEASE Foundation has awarded over $700,000 in scholarship money to our students. The PLEASE Foundation continues to expand and has been able to educate more children each year.
